I decided to take the new computer game thing one very small step at a time. Call it cheating if you want but it started the ball rolling okay!?
I have installed and started playing Civ 4. Initially I was a bit confused but now I’m getting used to the game concepts I’m actually rather enjoying it! I’m playing on the ridiculously easy level which is, well, ridiculously easy!
I’m quite enjoying it but I doubt that it’ll replace Civ 2 in my affections.
Later on I’ll look at getting a completely different type of game, maybe one of the Harry Potter games- stick with the obsessions I know. :o)

U should learn to play Rome:total war. learn as u play
if ur on a laptop it may be kind of limiting tho.

The total war games are kinda awkward with a touch pad- I shall see about getting a mouse and the reinstall Medieval I think.
